I was working at a shoe store on Capitol Hill, the owner used to smoke all over the store, and yelled all the time. I would find burning cigarettes on wooden countertops abandoned. I was determined to get out of there. More

Seattle Central Community College

I attended the Advertising & Illustration 2-year AAS program at Seattle Central Community College. They focused on a lot of fundmanetals: deisgn theory, art history, drawing, painting, typography. It was a great program, very inexpensive and well-regarded.

Early influences

Some of my early influences were all visual: Lego manual's, David Macauley's How Things Work was revelatory to me, in both it's metaphors and execution. More
